iPod touch Ipod jailbreak issue

I just jailbroke my ipod 4g on 4.2.1 use greenp0isen rc6 and after a week or so i reseted it and then it went to the home screen slide to unlock then to the greenp0isen logo with a circle over and over and over again.
I tried restore but it gives 3194 or cannot connect to restore server but i have full internet bars help!

Why would you jailbreak an iPod 4g on 4.2.1???

iOS 5.0.1 is untethered, and 5.1 is a semitether.
