My ipod is a 4th generation Ipod. Everytime I plug it in to charge my battery it just peeps and displays the battery icon (animation frozen).
I re-booted it but it does the same thing.

Does anybody else have the same problem? What can I do. I can't charge it.

Thank you.

Re:

I tried both. Same thing happens. :(

I guess I just have to send it in or bring it to a repair shop and see whats going on.

Try resetting it- Turn the Hold switch on, then turn it off again. Hold down the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple appears, again, roughly 6 to 10 seconds.

If that fails, try restoring it. WARNING- that will erase all your music from it and you'll have to do a full re-sync.

If an iPod's battery is extremely flat then a computer will not charge it but an adaptor still can.

If this doesn't work, then tell us more about this peeping. :)
