ipod memory problem

so i had a mixip with the new update that came out so i had updated to 1.1.3. it did not go so smooth so i restored it back to 1.1.2. however wen i did this i had to put all music vids and apps back on. it took a while but i eventually got it.

the problem is that now my ipod has like 8 gbs of "other" memory taken up and i dont know where it is coming from. help please! i am so frustrated with this

did you do update to 1.1.2? or restore to 1.1.2?

you should do the restore to that if you haven't... my only other thing is to downgrade to 1.1.1 and update it from there!

well i just donwgraded all the way back to 1.1.1. idk how to do a restore in 1.1.2.
do u just do it in itunes or does that put the newest settings on it?
