iPod Mini - current stock question

I've decided to get my g/f an iPod Mini (pink of course) for christmas. my question is, does any one know how the current stock of iPod minis are doing? and when would be a good time to purchase it? I'm going to buy through the Apple Online Store and get the free custom engraving.

I would suggest going to the Apple Online Store and selecting the item you want to buy. At some point, before you confirm your purchase it should tell you what the expected wait time for shipping will be (1-2 days, 2 weeks, etc.). You can then find out if you should order it now.
I would suggest ordering now. The closer to Christmas we get, the more orders they will probably receive.....which may increase shipment times. So to be sure you can get one for your g/f, order very soon b/c these will no doubt be very popular Christmas presents.
