iPod iPod mini NEVER stops charging

For some reason my second gen ipod mini will never stop charging. Anyone ever encounter this? I've restored the thing and it still does this. Is there something else I could do or do I have a dud?

Weird. Call AppleCare.

Maybe try flattening the battery completely and then charging it back up again. It may be poorly calibrated for some reason.

I'd be careful i made the mistake of over charging my 3rd Gen iPod and it ruined the battery, it never held a full charge and i had to replace the battery(hurt the casing a little bit)

it happens with my sister's 1st gen ipod mini. strange...she never minded though..
