iPod iPod mini screen is frozen

So my screen has frozen and the lock/unlock button doesn't change the ipod out of lock mode.

my buttons are hence useless at this point.

the screen has stayed lit for hours and i can't unlock it.

any advice?

nevermind.

scratch that previous thread.

I was able to reset the ipod and all is well.

the mini is rly old so just get a new one
