Is there anyway I can move back to 1.3. my Alpine stereo does not like the new update.

It's iPod, NOT Ipod...
Look in /Application/Utilites/iPod Software Updater/ if you have iPod Updater 2005-03-23.app or the older iPod Updater 2005-02-22.app. 1.3 should be in one of those.
