Hi Guys, my friend has given me her iPod Nano 3rd gen to me to see if I could get it out of it restore loop and I am having no luck at all. I have done a few searches and tried the suggestions like in Windows changing the drive letter with no luck and restoring from Disk Mode again with no luck. When I try from Disk Mode I can get it to allow me to name the iPod and even sync songs to it but when I eject and then restart it says it has to be restored again. Now I have tried this on her Windows 7 laptop, my own and my own Mac and seem to be getting no where, any suggestions?

ive never messed with an ipod in windows but on a mac i'd try going into disk utility and wiping the ipod clean then restoring it thru itunes. There may be an issue with the flash memory at which point she mine as well just get a new nano
