iPod ipod nano 4g purchase

Would it be possible to purchase an ipod nano 4g through Apple or have they discontinued it? I would like a new one.

If not through Apple directly, is eBay the next best option?

The 4th generation nano is two generations behind. As a general guideline, Apple only sells refurbished iPods one generation back, in this case a refurb 5th gen.

Your best bet for a 4th gen or earlier nano is eBay, Craigslist or a pawn shop, if there's one in your area.

Although I must ask: Why not go for the 5th gen? The 5th gen's screen is bigger without an overall increase in unit size, and the FM radio, video camera and built-in speaker add a lot of value. I love mine.
