Hi there,

For some reason, and I am unsure as to whether or not this is normal behavior, when any type of dock cable is plugged into my iPod Nano 6G it is not flush with the base. This includes the Nike+ adapter as well. About 1 Millimeter of space separates the plastic portion of the 30 pin connector and the iPod's base. This exposes a very small portion of the metal connector to the elements, or in my case, sweat while exercising. I am trying to make sure that this is functioning normally.

Thank you for any assistance.

Same with me. I guess if the connector went in any deeper, it would come out the other end!:)

Mine is also the same. However, the gap is perfectly the same across the width of the connector. The same is true on the iPhone, just slightly smaller gap. No big deal.
