I have 2 iPods and neither are showing up in windows or on my Macs. I am running Windows 10 and latest OSX. The computers don’t even see the iPods, they charge though. Anyone have any insight on what may cause this and a fix? If I need to put more info please let me know. Thx

Are you using USB or FireWire to connect them? Only USB will sync those iPods, though they can both charge with FireWire (I believe both, the nano might not).

Have always used usb. Their age shouldn’t prevent them from working. Any other thoughts?

Maybe obvious... Have you tried a different USB cable?
You are right about it being obvious haha. I have tried multiple usbs, cables, and other computers I have. Window 8 and after when it stopped and the last 2 upgrades from OSX.
