I plugged my friend's iPod Nano (2nd Gen) into my iMac the other day because he needed it charged while he was over. Turns out that somehow while it was plugged in, it locked the volume on his iPod. Now his volume won't go passed about 25%.

Help?

It's weird though that it would set it though. I just plugged it in to let it charged. They've had it plugged into his computer (XP) and it's never set the volume.

Ya, I know about the volume limiter, but it SET a password on his iPod. It's not 1111, so I don't have a clue. My Nano doesn't even have a password for it.

I thought about that too, but I got them to plug it into their computer but never had any luck.

I got him to come over, plugged it in and wiped it clean. Re-formated it and now everything is ok. He's just got to go put his songs on it now. :)

It's all saved, at least that's what he said. I'm a gonna laugh at him if it isn't. :p
