iPod Nano Mistake?

Yesterday I just ordered a 2Gen 4gb Silver iPod nano totally blocking out the fact that MWSF is coming in 2 days (3 days then). Did i make a mistake? There isn't likely to be a nano update right? ahh i guess i can just return it if there is.

they aren't going to totally reform and take a total over haul of it. They did that not to longago. They might lower prices, and increase size.

That is what it seems...like what happened with the Macbooks...same price, upgrade from CD to C2D and RAM bump.

sometimes they upgrade specs and decrease the price at the same time, when i bought my ibook g4, just afterwards they upgraded it slightly and brought down the price, grrrr!

The only reason I'm holding off on buying a Nano is that if the phone comes with 4/8GB, I'd rather get that.

ehhh im a big believer in specialists and want something that is good at one thing. Like a laptop for work and a phone just for calls and a mp3 player for music, no pda or hybrid crap for me

Then you have nothing to worry about then as far as the keynote.

I doubt anything radically different will be brought in, the new Nano hasn't been out that long.

Too be honest I reckon at macworld only new products are going to be announced not updates of old ones! I think you should be safe? ANyway could nt you just take it back for a refund?

So you already opened it? I'm sure the restocking fee is waived if the item is still unopened. I sort of gave up on having the latest iPod and haven't used my first gen Nano in over 3 months.

I'd just keep it and be happy.

Usually they just upgrade the specs, but they occasionally drop price points too.

From Apple's Sales and Refunds Policy:

"If the item is returned unopened in the original box, we will exchange it or offer you a refund based on your original method of payment."

Just a little hit in shipping but at least you won't suffer the restocking fee. 😎

well they just updated them so probably not.
anyway i had this same question. i'm going to a mall with a mac store tommorow and who knows when i'll get another chance to go to one.
so i want to get one, but gosh i dont want to wait two days.
i'm so impatient🙂
