iPod iPod nano turns on by it's self

Hello, my brother owns an iPod nano 4g. For some odd reason, it will turn on by it's self and run the battery down. As far as I know, it's done it ever since he got it. Any suggestions? Thanks... 😎

How long has he had it? If it's still under warranty, call Apple and they'll replace it. If there's nothing plugged into it, yet it still wakes itself and stays active until the battery runs down, this is not normal.

He took it to Apple a while back, but it's not under warranty anymore. Could it be a battery issue?
