iPod touch iPod not restoring!

Hey I was half way through jailbreaking n decided to stop, so I went to do the hard reset n now when it just gets to preparing ipod for restore it says it cannot b restored because of a problem 1604! Any help

well this can be a BIG problem you never just stop in the middle of it. Well did you do the hard reset hold the sleep/wake button and home button for 10 seconds(until the screen goes black) then release the sleep/wake button but keep holding the home button then itunes should recognize the ipod in restore mode and then restore 🙂 hope it works

hey yer iv put it in recovery mode and itunes recognises that its in that mode, bt wen i press restore it stops after a bit saying there was an error 1604!

just restart your computer and try again
