im having some weird issues with my ipod and i'll do my best on explaining the issue. its a 5th gen 30gb ipod. when i turn it on it goes into the screen that tells me that i need to connect it with iTunes and restore it (in multiple languages). So i do this and restore. afterwards my itunes reads the ipod and tells me that i need to restore it again. it goes on and on telling me it needs restored...but here's the weird thing...

i decided to see if i can take it into disk mode and it did...it showed the check mark telling me i can connect the ipod. I connect the ipod as it is in disk mode and to my surprise it appears on iTunes as if nothing happened...i can dump music, podcasts, videos, etc....but once i eject it and turn it on the "connect to itunes to restore" screen loads up.

i am confused as to why itunes will only recognize it as working when i load it into Disk Mode but not when i connect it the normal way. Regardless it cannot play music unless i connect it through itunes and play it off of itunes....any help?
