iPod pause

Is there any way i can make my 3g ipod automaticly pause when the jack is pulled out? I know that the iPod photo has this funkton, but is it possible on a 3g iPod? 🙂 🙂

have you tried the latest updater? i know that it gave some new enhancements to the 3G ipods, but not sure if this was included

No it was not included with the update. Only gave the screen the same menu options as the 4G.

ah, well then as far as i know there is no way to create this type of action on an older ipod, sorry

what version was the latest uppdate? i'm a little confuced, my memory isnt the best, and by the way, is apple.com down today?
