Hello All.

I've been waiting for any kind of an update to apple laptops, but in the meantime, would like to get an IPOD of some sort. I take the train into work sometimes, so the tunes would be nice.

I was hoping that some ipods would have been updated during wwdc, but alas, I'm sure you were all hoping the same thing.

So, I'm kinda looking at the 20GB Ipod, or the 30GB Photo. Any thoughts on these? I like the idea of having a display, and I actually prefer the look and feel of these oppossed to the mini. Any experience with these, or comments would be great.

Also, any updates you think in the next month on any ipods?

I do have a question on formatting. As I do not have a mac yet, I'll need to sync this up with my XP box at home. Once I get mac, I will want move tunes over to that platform. Any issues in reformatting?

Thanks in advance.

I don't have an iPod Photo but they are beautiful. A guy at work got one and I was very impressed with the display. I'd say go with what you can afford and bigger is better. I got a 15GB iPod a year ago and it's maxed out. I admit I don't listen to everything on it but there will surely come a day when I go "Argh! Why did I delete the Adam and the Ants album?! I really want to listen to it now!". So go for the best.

With Apple, better is always better. ;)
