Yeah, true.
I was not supporting it, just throwing it in the pond.

Anyway, I don't really care about a wireless remote, if Apple makes one cool, interesting I might get one.
If not, no big deal, if I'm listening to music I'm usually near the iPod anyway.
 
if 802.11x was in the iPod, you could get an internet radio stream if your in the range of a base station or something like that. that, and you can use iTunes's sharing on the iPods. both as a music sever and to stream off of oother comuters:D

now that's an idea!
 
You have a brilliant idea using the dock to send bluetooth information to a minipod for control.
I would definately buy it.
Apple should hold some competition for these kind of development ideas don't you think? Or at least a macrumors should have a future harware plan board.

It wouldn't be Apple's style, anyways they have succeeded in creating amazing peices of hardware so far...
 
Yes they do create great products. An Apple competition would let the end users input improvement ideas.

Ideas such as the imac with a detachable screen to use as a tablet and this remote ipod dock are truely brilliant ideas!
