Hi, I have made an appointment to see a Genius at my local Apple store regarding my iPod Touch. When I connect it to my Mac it doesn't appear in iTunes. I think that if they cant fix the iPod at the store they will give me a replacement as its under warranty.

I am just thinking as I have a first generation iPod if they do replace it will it be replaced with a second generation iPod or not?

Thanks,
Michael

That would be sweet if they do! My guess is they will be able to connect it to their iTunes in the store and they will have you reinstall iTunes and/or retsore your iPod touch software

No, you'll get a regular 1G Touch back. Sorry.
