iPod touch iPod screen-locked after boot?

hey guys

is it normal that when I boot up my ipod it automatically goes into locked mode and I have to slide with my finger to unlock it? arent all the apps supposed to fly in directly after a boot? Im on a jailbroken 4.2.1 4th gen touch.

No. Your iPod will never go directly to your home screen without first hitting the lock screen.
