My ipod touch 2gen is really slow and the tilt has froze on me while playing doodle jump. it came back but i wanted to know if there was anything i could do to prevent it from happening again.

Its a 2nd gen iPod touch 8gb with 272mb free space

You're probably lagging because of the lack of space you have on your iPod.

It's up to you, but I think it's better if you delete some music. Just go on iTunes and see what's taking up most of your space and delete some of it.

I doubt its that. I think its more of the fact that its an ipod Touch 2g. If you are running that on 4.2.1, then it's completely understandable why its lagging

Yeah, running a 2g (which is almost 3 years old) with the latest software will make it really slow. I'd wait for the 5G if the 2G is still okay for you.

It is because of the little space i have doodle jump textfree and all music

I'm just gonna have to take the money out of my iMac fund

No, it's because older technology is slower, so if its running the latest version, it gets really slow. If you planned on buying your iMac this summer and are a college student, then you could get a free iPod Touch whenever that promotion starts.

I was going to until Apple decided to change the promotion but now im able to buy my iMac lion next year and get the server app for free kinda. But im probably gonna get the 4th gen if the five doesnt come out soon because i found a really nice case for the 4th.
