I use 3 macs, G5 at home, pb for travel/home and imac g5 in the office. Whats the best way to sync my ipod between them all 3 of them. Were if i rip a cd at my office and connected it to the ipod then after when i connect my ipod to my pb it will auto sync the ipod (add the ripped cd) by it self? I am not sure if this is possible but can i t be done?

Off topic a bit - Whats the best way to back-up my music collection?

The iPod is really designed for one machine.

If you must rip from another machine, just copy the files to the iPod outside of iTunes (remember it doubles as an external hard drive) - just don't put the files in the folder structure that the iPod uses - create another folder for transporting music you are going to import. Bring iPod home, then import those files to your main machine and sync with iPod.

As for a backup, your iPod is your backup.
