iPod touch iPod Touch 1g Refurb and Double Memory or iPod Touch 2g

Hi. I'm planning on getting an iPod Touch and need some guidance. Should I get the iPod Touch 1g 16gb refurb for $220 and be able to jailbreak or get the iPod Touch 2g 8gb for $220.

Jailbreaking is something I would be interested in since I would like to customize my iPod Touch. However, I think this guy makes a good argument. Staying with the latest is never a bad thing, and the iPod Touch 2g looks so much better, although looks aren't everything 😎.

Anyway, I was wondering what you guys think:
iPod Touch 1g 16gb for $220 and be able to jailbreak
or
iPod Touch 2g 8gb for $220 and have the newer product but no jailbreak
?

well it will be jailbroken EVENTUALLY (fingers crossed).

and the new one has a speaker and all. i have the 8gig 2g and im happy and still have like 1gb free

either save another 80 bucks and get a 16GB 2G, or decide how much space you need.
