iPod touch Ipod Touch 1g, Screen not responding to touch.

So it was working fine until one day it just completley didnt respond to my touch... I tried restarting it, restoring it, i dont know what else to do :\
Anyone have the same problem? Can you give me some suggestions or what to do with this? thanks 🙂

Similar situation, I have

I was attempting to repair my itouch. I lifted the top screen, in hopes of fixing loose headphone screws. But... When I put everything back together, my screen didn't respond to touch from my fingers.
I've restarted it by pushing both buttons for several seconds; I'm toying with the idea of completely restoring it, through iTunes.

Anything? It sure will be appreciated!
