I took the screen off of this iPod to replace it with a new one, and when I got the new screen on the home button didn't work 😡 grrr! So I opened it back up again and foolishly messed with the little gold square that makes the home button circuit (the gold piece on logic board) and I broke it off...I also figured out that the logic board is very sensitive to which place on the metal I touch it to make the home button work! Is there any way I can fix this?!? Soldering?

I've got the same issue as you, but I haven't dared to open it back up again... Anybody's help would be appreciated! :')
