Hi guys,
I'm looking forword to jailbreak by ipod touch 2g (2.2.1), but I have a few questions before doing so:
1. Are there any risks? (if so, what are the chances?)
2. Will I be able to upgrade to iphone os 3.0?
3. Will my ipod appear as a mass storage device (SD card or USB drive) ? (if not, are there any apps that can do so?)
4. Are the apps on Cydia and Installer free? (if not, can I download free ones via torrents?)

Thanks !

I succesfully managed to jailbreak my ipod touch 2g with the help of a video I saw on youtube. It was really helpful. Jailbreaking is really easy, too bad you need to repeat some things after each reboot.

Congrats, and welcome to the world of jailbreaking. I would suggest you download Icy and try it out in place of cydia/installer. It is much faster and more elegant.
