iPod touch Ipod Touch 2nd Gen stuck at Apple logo.

Well I updated my friends Ipod Touch 2nd Gen to 3.1.2,then I jailbroke it using blackra1n. Now the ipod turns on,but shuts off on the apple logo. Can anyone help me with this problem?Thanks

I would put the phone into DFU mode and restore it, and then try jailbreaking with Pwnage tool. You can download it from here.
