Its really weird that I just download 4.2.1 update and I don't see airprint airplay safari search, who has the same, or I don't know maybe my iPod touch is 2nd generation??

If its an 8GB then its a 2nd gen. Even if you purchased it when the 3rd gen was selling. plug in some headphones with a mic and clicker, and press the home button.. does voice control pop up?

Does the reverse of your iPod say 8GB?

If so, you have a second generation iPod touch, not a third gen.

U have the 2nd gen 8 gb iPod touch. That's why u don't get those features.

Yup. AirPrint requires multitasking. The print center needs to run in the background to send the printing job to printers.

There's no difference. There isn't such a thing as an 8GB iPod touch 3rd Generation.
