iPod touch iPod Touch 4g... what to use it for...

I'm tempted to jailbreak my Ipod touch 4g, but not sure why... mainly just that is just sits around doing nothing (have iPhone and iPad...).

Does jailbreaking add any functionality that could make my iPod touch useful again?

if you have an iPhone anything newer than the 3gs, i'd say it's useless honestly.

Thinking about just loading it with movies and using it as a portable video player.. even though my iPhone can do that too...

yeah, i had the iPod touch 4th gen, and then a few months later i got an iPhone 4. I keep my old iPod in my glove box connected to my stereo in my truck.

That's a pretty good idea, least it wont go to waste.

I have my old ipod touch connected to a speaker, having a dedicated online radio device (pandora, iheartradio, etc)

I second this—even an iPhone 3GS makes a passable stereo if it is dedicated to that purpose.
