iPod touch iPod Touch 4G = yellow screen?

I compared my iPod Touch 3G to the iPod Touch 4G. First I thought the difference between both screen was the higher resolution. But when I set both brightness to equal, it was the colour of the screen.

The iPod Touch 4G is yellow in comparison to the older generation?

It does seem yellow under sunlight or cool white lighting.

Hi! I have the same problem. And it is not only between generations but for same models also. I bought a new 4g 32gb and compared it to my old 4g 8gb and the 32gb seems a lot more yellow. But I have read in some other forums that apple intended it because it give richer color to videos etc. I like the white one though. And I hope this is not a defect.

Where did you read that?

Why not go to an Apple Store and compare it to theirs, if it's different get it exchanged.
