iPod touch iPod Touch 4G = yellow screen?

I compared my iPod Touch 3G to the iPod Touch 4G. First I thought the difference between both screen was the higher resolution. But when I set both brightness to equal, it was the colour of the screen.

The iPod Touch 4G is yellow in comparison to the older generation? 😕

It does seem yellow under sunlight or cool white lighting.

Hi! I have the same problem. And it is not only between generations but for same models also. I bought a new 4g 32gb and compared it to my old 4g 8gb and the 32gb seems a lot more yellow. But I have read in some other forums that apple intended it because it give richer color to videos etc. I like the white one though. And I hope this is not a defect. 🙁

Where did you read that?

Why not go to an Apple Store and compare it to theirs, if it's different get it exchanged.
