iPod touch ipod touch 4th gen camera does not work

the camera on my ipod does not work. In the lower left where the camera/video button is at, it continually flashes/flickers. Also will not open the shutter.
Can anyone help me with this?

Restore in iTunes. If that doesn't fix it, get it replaced as its still under warranty.
