I wasn't planning to post this but I found my results surprising.

My iPod touch 5th generation is around 2 years old now and I was wondering how much battery life it was getting. I've used it quite a bit, daily, so I thought I'd test its battery life on video playback. Apple claims 8 hours of video playback. With a full charge, medium brightness and WiFi/bluetooth off, my iPod got the following results. I was quite impressed. Anyone else getting battery life like this?

My 4th gen touch that I bought right when it came out in September 2010 just started losing battery life a little, but still makes it through the day most of the time, after 4 and a half years. Batteries are fantastic in these devices if they're taken care of over time.
