I've just bought an Ipod Touch (5th Gen) 32gb white/silver, as a present for someone in France (I'm in the U.K.)
Before sending it, I wanted to check it works ok, I saw an unboxing vid on youtube where after turning it on , it asked for language then country and so on.
Will there be any issues if I set these now if the person moves to the uk next year? (can they be changed?) When the person connects the ipod to itunes in France I'm told by the Apple store person there will be no problem though it will be automatically connected to the uk itunes store as it detects the serial number.... so back to my first question, does the initial setup of language/country affect or overide this...?
