Hello!
Despite its disappointing hardware refreshment I bought a new iPod touch 7 (256gb).
My problem is, that the device activates the display at random when touching it at the frame or various points on the display (which is off at the time of touching). These touch points vary and can not reproduced.
I believe this is a hardware fault and I should return it?! Or is it a new feature which I can not make any sense of?
Thanks for enlightenment!

Is it Raise to Wake? It turns on the device's screen automatically when it is picked up at certain angles.

Hi!
Thanks for the hint, that solved the problem.
Raise to Wake seems to be one of the few new features in addition to the battery percentage indicator. I did'nt expect that as it did not exist on my old 6th gen.

I replaced by Gen 6 with a Gen 7. No regrets. Best Music player out there. And if someone drops/steps on/steals, c'est la vie!
