I signed in to iCloud with my iPod on iOS 12 and it's listed as a 7th gen, new iPod coming? Or just an oversight?

Mine also shows as a 7th gen, and it's not on iOS 12. I wouldn't bet on Apple making a new iPod.

Yeah, it's some kind of error that also appears on other versions of iOS. Not sure whether it's linked to a new model or not.

Yeah I just found this today. Weird! Maybe a minor refresh could happen soon.

If they really weren't supporting the iPod touch anymore they would've killed it along with the Nano and Shuffle. Apple obviously still sees something in the iPod touch.

This was back when I was using the iOS 12 beta. I don’t think it was a glitch or this wouldn’t have happened this far back into August..

I was also on the iOS 12 beta (beta 2 I think?) when this happened. I should’ve tried downgrading it back to iOS 11 to see what would happen.
