Is ther any possible way to activate your iPod without connecting to iTunes because 2.2.1 comes pre installed. I know this because when I went to restore my firmware my computer had to download it. And I was reading a book and it gave a website but either it was wrong or they took it off the site. So does anyone know if there is one and what it is and/or how to do it. Thank you very much!

Not sure what you mean.... iPod touch doesn't need to be activated. Maybe you mean upgrade to 3.0?
