iPod touch Ipod Touch Backlight And Wi-Fi Help!

My sisters ipod touch used to work, but the backlight doesnt turn on and the wi-fi wont work (Just says "No Wi-fi"), even though i have an ipod touch too and the wi-fi works fine.

ive tried reseting her ipod but that didnt work

Please Help!

Ps:

She doesnt wanna bring it in.

and

i should mention it accidently got washed in the washer.

The backlight sometimes works for acouple minutes but then shuts off again

My guess, the washing machine might have had something to do with it.

I would say, that would most likely be the problem. You can't take it to Apple because more than likely you tripped the water sensor and the warranty becomes void since it has water damage. I would say your out of luck. Not much info. I could share.

well i would say that your pretty much screwed but if you want to try and restore it to proper condition, place ina rice bag for a week or so, just to suck up all moisture. but you moist likely killed it by turning it on after the wash.

Yeah, there really isn't anything you can do. Just have to get a new one (but wait till their updated). Sorry...

The issues you are having are very common with water and iPod touch's.

you can try to soak it in rice for a few days, but other than that, sorry. Get a new one
