jman2003 sent in these photos he found of some iPod touches at Target. Now with John Lennon on the box.

What's interesting about that is more the relationship it implies between Apple records and Apple computer.

I still remain convinced that the line in the last financial agreement that gives Apple (computers) the right to use the Apple (records) logo, is an indicator of a very interesting shared future between the two companies. :eek:
 
And they were only 8GB iPod Touches.
They also had a few Zune 80's next to the iPod Nanos and Touches
 
just if anyone was wondering if they want a zune 80 of want to see it in person it is at the target in Glenview in IL
 
These actually aren't too new, I saw these maybe 1 or 2 weeks ago. Here's a better photo

My Best Buy and Future Shop have these...in both 16gb and 8gb capacities.
 
original box is so much nicer, I'm a huge beetles and lennon fan, in fact my grandmother is convinced we are related to him some how, :p wish it was true!!! Anyway, does anyone have one of these boxes they would sell?:D:apple:

Can't be too "huge" a fan (it's "Beatles"...) :)
 
Wow - didn't realize that my box was 'unusual'. Ordered a touch the morning of Black Friday from the Apple Store - and it has John Lennon on the box.

I remember Paul McCartney said that the Beatles catalog would be available online soon or sometime early next year when he was asked about iTunes.
 
I'd guess that John Lennon is spinning in his grave, I don't think he would have been a 'product endorsement' man.
 
Why didn't they use the image of the ugly naked girl wrapped around him?

For those wondering, 16GB John Lennon iPod touch's exist. I bought one yesterday at Best Buy.

Haha, too bad they didn't have any 8gb's at my Best Buy. All they had was 16's. The one I bought is having problems with freezing and the screen is unresponsive most of the time.
