I'm looking for an iPod touch on Craigslist. But I have a question of packaging. Someone is claiming that they have the newest version iPod touch, but it comes in black box. I thought the newest comes came in a clear plastic case.

I just wanted to confirm what kind of packaging that newest ipod touch comes in.

Yes they do come in the clear box. The first generation iPod comes in the black box.

Thanks, that's what I thought. But one of the people i'm talking to keeps on insisting that it's the most current version but it comes in a black box.

Nope, the first generation iPod touch came in a black box. Since that, Apple has switched to clear, plastic boxes.
