I recently jailbroke my iPod touch, and there were no problems, everything was functioning properly etc.
I was looking up applications that I should dload, one of which included the "bosstool".
The other day, I used this application, and I selected "Re-locate fonts", or something along those lines. It said that it would take a few minutes, blahblah. Then the iPod froze, I tried turning off/holding down the menu button to restart/connected to my computer to sync/and even restoring it.
On the screen, there's just the white :apple: logo, that comes up when you turn it on, but just underneath is the "loading" logo, the circlular type thing that usually moves when it's loading something, however it still seems frozen and it isn't moving.
When I try to sync my iPod, it comes up with the error "The iPod cannot be synced. The device timed out."
And when I try to restore it it comes up with "The iPod could not be restored. An unknown error has occured. (0xE8000001). And then just disconnects the iPod from iTunes, leaving my iPod still frozen with the same **** on the screen.
I'm really f'n pissed, because I love my iPod, and it's being a real son of the bitch at the moment.

Would someone please be able to assist me/ or suggest some things to get it working?
Any help will be appreciated

Thanks, Emma.

Thankyou! :)
If anyone else has this issue, just follow these instructions, I found them in another thread.

"you need to plug the ipod into your mac/pc then (if its already on) hold down home and sleep key, and the screen will go off. Keep the buttons held down and when the ipod logo appears let go of the sleep key only and keep the home button held down, eventually the apple logo will change to itunes logo and a usb connection image and itunes should say it detected an ipod in recovery mode now restore and try ziphone again."
