Check out the incase products they are pretty good. The incase protective case is like that although it does have a little design on the back. Also check out ayobonus and itsmemorphious on youtube. they both do excellent case reviews for iphone but im sure you could find something similar for ipod touch.

Get a best skins ever. They provide as much protection as a silicone case but has no extra bulk. I have one on my Touch, 4th gen nano, and LG Dare.

perfect , if it wasnt for the design on the back

anything in here

already covered it up , just want to make sure i didnt miss anything

The design is very smooth and flush and doesn't add any bulk to the case. Most plain silicone cases are really cheasy and cheap looking compared to a Speck or Incase and Incase adds very little bulk.

I highly recommend the Power Support Air Jacket or Macally Metro cases:

Go directly to this link (INCASE) to buy them. Here are the pics for a 2G iPod Touch. 1st on is Gunmetal and the second one is Glossy ( Stormtrooper) White..ohh and a matte black ( also non textured ):)

I ordered the white for my upcoming touch but have white and Gunmetal for my iPhone 3G :D can't go wrong with incase!

Well i bought a similiar one for my 1g at best buy. It was an incase product. Currently I use the Rebel Touch and i would def. recommend that; however, it is not plain plain in the back like you described.

WARNING TO EVERYONE.
Do not get that case. I had my iPod touch in it and it got knocked to the ground. The screen cracked in three places.

Luckily Apple replaced it for free and I'm now using a hard shell case which seems to protect it very well.

so you're saying you had it in a silicone case and it fell on the ground and cracked? It wasn't the case it was how it fell or flipped that the screen corner made contact first resulting in the cracks.

I've dropped mine many times in that exact case and never had so much as a scratch. Sounds like it landed just exactly right(well, wrong I guess would be the proper term).

I've dropped this one a few times:

...and again, not a scratch.

Except for the fact that I now have a hard case since getting it I've dropped it a few times in the same exact way and nothing happened.

I like leather case.

I almost got one but I didn't like the bulkiness.
