iPod touch Ipod touch charging and internet questions

Hey, I had a ipt for a while and returned it because it had stuck pixels, I am going to get another on today at costco and I have a few questions.
Is there anyway to connect the internet through an ethernet cord? I'm sure it has to be through wireless but my dad was asking. Also, I hate how the new ipod don't come with a wall charger. My ipod photo did. lol
Can I charge it in a car converter that has a usb opening?
Whats the voltage so I can make sure i don't fry my ipod? Thanks.

Hey, i dont think theres a way to share using ethernet, unless you have a mac then you can use your mac as a router. Preferences >> Sharing >> internet.
