iPod touch ipod touch died, will Apple replace it?

I went to turn it on this morning and it's not responding. It's dead. I bought it end of may. Will they give me a replacement?

If it is within the one year warranty. If not then probably no.

Depends. If you've dropped it in the toilet, thrown it off a cliff, or damaged it in some other way, they won't replace it. Otherwise, they should give you either a new one or refurb without question.

Thanks guys. I have a genius bar appointment tomorrow. Do they usually send it away or will they give me a refurb on the spot?

If they have refurbs in stock they'll just give you one. If not, they may have to order one or, if the manager is feeling kindly, you may even get a new one off the shelf.
