iPod touch iPod Touch - Disconnects while charging

I was charging my iPod touch on my PC. It started charging when I connected it, but a minute later, my background screen was showing. I disconnected and reconnected, and it's been charging since.

Is this the fault of the iPod, or maybe if the cord is forming a tiny twist? Either way, does it suggest any type of battery issue?

It will still charge even while being used.

I always use a brick, but noticed that even the slightest movement of the iPod will bring up the screen. Even if I've turned it off.

Nothing to worry about.
