    Look here:
    http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/

"Millions of songs. Thousands of movies. Hundreds of games."

Isn't that false advertising since it can't hold that many? Unless it's referring to the stuff available on the iTunes Store.

    oh god. so it begins.....

Should we be putting paragraphs of microscopic disclaimers in every product made now?

Who honestly believes they will be able to carry millions of songs with them or thousands of videos. Better yet, what average consumer has a library anywhere near that?

And another thing...didn't I hear once that the internet put "the world at your fingertips?" I've been on the internet a lot and I've been looking but I never have seen anything different on my fingertips. It's mostly just the same keyboard that's always been there. Occasionally some lint or something.

    I'm going to sue!

    Warning! Coffee Hot!

Yes, you know the human race is getting smarter when they need to be warned about the hot coffee. It bugs the heck out of me. People are stupid.

Yes, it says "Millions of songs. Thousands of movies. Hundreds of games. The new iPod touch." It doesn't say "all at the same time", or "all will fit on your Touch at the same time".

Thousands of threads. Millions of posts. Hundreds of compaints. iPod Touch Forums.

Yeah, but would you really want the world at your fingertips? Where would you sit?

If you're so dense that you take take that literally rather than figuratively...then I feel really sorry for you.

The Circus -- "The Greatest Show on Earth"
Halle Berry -- "Most Beautiful Woman in the World"
The US Presidential Race -- "Every is talking about it"

Other examples of figuratively not literally.

I think he has a point, though. The original marketing machine for iPods were about how many songs it could hold. They are being somewhat misleading from changing that to suddenly millions.

I think the 'millions of songs' refers to the iTunes Wi Fi store...basically you do have access to millions of songs from the iPod itself.
