So, I just bought an 8GB iPod touch, and it has a loose volume button. It moves around pretty easily. Obviously nothing is broken, but it's quite annoying. Should I take the time to replace it with a new one? Will the Genius Bar replace it?

Why keep something you're not happy with? If the Genius bar is not to far away, make an appointment and discuss. If it is a fault they will replace it for you if it's under warranty.

My ipod touch had a volume toggle that would not work sometimes. The genius bar replaced it with a refurbished (that looked brand new) ipod. Take it in.

Just got back from the Genius Bar, they said that unless the volume buttons don't work, I can't get it replaced. :(
