Hey yall, question....i have an ipod touch 3rd Gen, 32 gb. My headphone jack seems to be acting up, and i'd like some advice. When i plug it in regular, i get no sound from either earphone. if i take the end of the headphones and press it deeper(sizzle) into the ipod, sounds comes out regular, but it's touchy. It will cut out if i move the ipod around, then i have to wiggle it again(sizzle). i don't want to send it in, just wondering which methods are best...compressed air? clean with q-tip(i tried that and lightly cleaning with a toothpick and nothing), any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

If the contacts are bad you need to use a contact cleaner like DeOxit. Spray some on the headphone plug then work it into the jack, repeat a couple times. If this doesn't work, the jack needs to be replaced.
