my 4th gen iPod touch's home button is unresponsive at times and i have to either press it hard for it to work or repeatedly for it to work. does anyone know how to fix this ? im jailbroken on ios 4.3.3 with the jailbreakme jailbreak


Edit: i have removed the jailbreak a couple days ago and it still was not working

It is best if you visit an Apple Genius Bar for a replacement unit as this is a commonly reported problem among iPod Touches and iPhones.

Alternatively you can call their world-wide customer support number which is 1-300-321-456.
 
If you're jailbroken, you can install activator from Cydia and set up another action to work as your home button.

When my sleep/wake button broke, I used to use activator to double-tap the status bar on my iPod to lock the screen.
